B.T.Borchard's skillful use of watercolors
and mixed media adds a fresh perspective
to the classic pin-up genre. Combining the
familiar with the unexpected, Borchard's
playful style and dark humor juxtapose
perfectly with the sensuality of the primary
subject. His work becomes, in essence,
a beautiful continuation from the saucy
garage calendars and pulp novel covers
that have delighted fans for decades and
inspired these very paintings.

Operating under the banner
of MaximumFluoride
for more than a decade, Mike Fisher has adorned
posters, shirts, stickers, and skate decks with his
macabre imaginings. Aside from various windows,
poles, and walls, Mike's work has appeared in The
Art of Electric Frankenstein, The Art of Modern
Rock, Royal Flush, I Want Your Skull, and also
in a brief feature on MTV.
Mike's unique brand of artistic madness and his
relentlessly dark design aesthetic have served
him well, garnering work for music labels such as
Sony, Relapse, and Metal Blade as well as bands
including Metallica, High On Fire, Avenged
Sevenfold, Cattle Decapitation, The Clash,
Led Zeppelin, Misfits, and more. After over
15 years of creating art for both mainstream and
underground metal and punk bands, Mike can
honestly lay claim to having worked with almost
every band that matters. You've seen his artwork
repeatedly over the years, but now we're putting
it on the wall so you can take a closer look.
