Dark Art Group Exhibit

Noir is an exploration into the darker side of the psyche. Subcultures and fashion cliques are tossed
aside as we delve into the roots of Dark Art to discover its overwhelmingly human origins. Each of
us has a place inside that is void of light. It is where our fears are spawned and, more frighteningly,
it's where our inhibitions are challenged. We are manifesting this place through our Dark Art, an
artwork style that is less about evil, but more so about Truth. In the words of H.P. Lovecraft,
"The question to ask of art - including literature - is not whether it is 'healthy' or 'pleasant,'
but whether it is genuine & powerful."
