Matt Dukes Jordan is a leading authority on the LowBrow and Pop Surrealist art movements.
He is the author of WEIRDO DELUXE: THE WILD WORLD OF POP SURREALISM AND
LOWBROW ART and BUKOWSKI'S LA. His writing has appeared in COAGULA, MetroLA,
the Miami New Times, PLAYBOY ONLINE, & Venice Magazine, among numerous other
publications. He taught the first ever college-level art history course on LowBrow art, at
Otis College of Art and Design in LA, and his own art is an exploration of the LowBrow,
Cartooning, and Outsider genres.
