- Ramzi Abed - Ramzi Abed is a West Hollywood-based director and producer with a growing cult following and a diverse range of credits and creations under his belt. His early short film, Nobody, screened at numerous film festivals and marked a collaboration with Cinematographer, Michael Hofstein and Key Makeup Artist, Elisabeth Fry. His next short film of note, The Tunnel, starred indie film heroes, Lloyd Kaufman (The Toxic Avenger) and Mark Borchardt (American Movie), and was screened at numerous film festivals all over the world, including the Deep Ellum, Tromadance, and FirstGlance film festivals in 2001 and 2002 respectively. Abed followed his critically-acclaimed short films with the widely distributed feature film The Devil's Muse (starring Kristen Kerr, Cinque Lee, and Sarah Scott), based on the unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short (also known as the "Black Dahlia"). The Devil's Muse marked his first collaboration with gothic rock legend, David J (Bauhaus, Love & Rockets), who created the original score and soundtrack for the film, in conjunction with composer, Ego Plum. The Devil's Muse was released theatrically and on DVD by HALO 8 Entertainment. It was later released digitally by Cinetic Rights Management (CRM) and their VOD label, FilmBuff, and tracked by renowned independent film firm, Cinetic Media in New York. His English and Hebrew language feature film In A Spiral State was released theatrically and on DVD through HALO 8 on September 29, 2009. It was the last film that co-founding Marilyn Manson band member, Gidget Gein, acted in, and was one of the most heavily pirated films of 2009. It was in the Top 5 illegal downloads next to films like Inglorious Basterds and The Hangover. Abed is also known for his erotic photography work, working under the name, MR. E, and has been a staff photographer for renowned adult publication, Fox Magazine. Abed's latest films include "Telephone World" and MR. E's "Mystery World of Sex", which are both presently available for order on Amazon.
