Rodrigo Orozco - The Spectral Cave - The Halloween season is upon us in all of its haunting glory. It is a time to revel in all things frightening and macabre, and to celebrate the true beauty in darkness. Our new exhibit pushes the boundaries of Dark Art into the realms of one artist's visceral nightmares. Rodrigo Orozco was first introduced to Hyaena gallery early last year by famed auteur Guillermo Del Toro. The fantastic scope of Orozco's works is breathtaking and alarming. Surreal worlds are created that undulate with a life force that spreads beyond the canvas, both mysterious and ominous. This is inspired work from a young master of the craft. A celebrated artist in his home of Michoacán, Mexico, this is Rodrigo's first United States exhibition. It a rare privilege for Hyaena to exhibit art of this scale and it is not to be missed.
