Early Work of Jeffrey Vincent Parise - Shadows of Yesterday - For more than 20 years now, Jeffrey Vincent Parise has garnered fame working as an actor, and an accomplished painter. Having amassed an impressive body of artwork, he has exhibited in galleries from Paris to Los Angeles with critical accolades. Often working on series of paintings, Jeffery explores his themes with both a traditional and experimental methodology. The results are beautiful, primal in nature. Over the years he has carved quite a resume for himself, appearing in many feature films (including three films with legendary director Wim Wenders) and also starring and guest starring on several television series like Cupid, Millennium (TV series), CSI, NYPD Blue, Monk, CSI New York, Castle, Burn Notice, Party Down, Judging Amy, and Veronica Mars. Parise currently has a recurring role as Carlos Rivera on the ABC soap opera General Hospital and will be appearing in the upcoming CW series iZombie. For this exhibit, we are presenting a number of his early works. It is a cleansing of sorts, as Jeffrey prepares for the next step in his artistic journey.
